FourStars is proud to sponsor successful professionals who add great value to interns’ professional development. Alec Von Bargen is a professional photographer who seeks to capture a collection of moments, brief glimpses into our most solitary journeys and the ways in which these paths inevitably intersect with the outer world: true with their historical, political, and social contexts. Most recently Alec exhibited as part of the official selection at the 54th Venice Biennale, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and at the International Festival of Photography in Arles. He has won numerous international awards and is included in private and public collections worldwide. His current project, 'Veritas Feminae' will see his images, installations and videos travel the world as part of a multi-year traveling exhibit. In addition, Alec was awarded by the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai as an Artist in Residency for his unique multicultural and artistic value.
FourStars is currently sponsoring Alec as their professional artist at the Shanghai Headquarters office to provide interns the opportunity to draw inspiration from his universal experiences and develop skills to distinguish themselves in our global economy.
“The uniqueness of his photography is not the only thing that has captured us” says Chiara Grosso, President of FourStars, “Alec’s passions for the world and for his contemporary, multi-cultural being are only some of the incredible values that we would like to bequeath to our candidates”.
Alec helps internships gain new insights that add value in their professional fields. FourStars purposely integrated Alec into their staff to create a robust variety of professional skills that represent true internationalization and entrepreneurial environments. Though influential mentors like Alec, candidates discover different social, cultural, professional, and historical contexts to prepare for what tomorrow’s working world will be like.
