ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Our in-depth application procedures ensure that FourStars maintains its status as the world’s leading Chinese internship placement agency for highly respected and competitive internship positions. There are two stages of the application process. First, the FourStars enrollment committee evaluates candidate applications to confirm a good-fit between applicants and the available Chinese internships. Second, the enrollment committee notifies the candidates who progress onto a phone or Skype interview. If candidates’ primary language is not English, they will be interviewed in both English and their native language. Finally, candidates will be notified if they have been accepted into the China internship program.
Internship applicants need to meet the following eligibility requirements:
- be fluent in English
- have a college degree or be enrolled in at a university during the final year before graduation
- be dynamic, open-minded, flexible, and resourceful
- have a valid passport (minimum 6 months before expiration with sufficient blank pages)
- have an international health and general liability insurance policy during the entire trip
Candidates should have interest in internships related to:
- business and economics
- engineering
- architecture and design
- marketing and communication
- language studies
- cultural studies
- literature and philosophy
- law and political science
- IT
- medicine
- biotechnologies
- art
Preferable candidate qualities:
- know a second or third language (not essential)
- know Chinese (not essential)
- held a previous internship (not essential)
